Bangladesh Army organized Iftar in honor of students injured in July Uprising

On Sunday (23 March 2025) evening, an Iftar and dinner were organized in honor of students injured in the July Uprising at the Army Pavilion in Dhaka Cantonment. During this, Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, PSC exchanged greetings with the students injured in the July Uprising and inquired about their whereabouts.

The Iftar and dinner was attended by students injured in the July Uprising, senior army officers, prominent figures from the civilian community, and directors of various government hospitals. In addition, at the end of the program, Eid gifts were presented to them by the Bangladesh Army.

It is worth noting that 4215 people injured in the July Uprising have been provided medical care at various Combined Military Hospitals (CMH) of the country till date and out of them, 989 injured have undergone successful surgeries. Currently, 39 are undergoing treatment at CMH, Dhaka.
