A meeting on the implementation of the National Commitment (Election Manifesto 2026) was held at the conference room of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism on Tuesday (March 3, 2026).
At the meeting, Aviation Minister Afroza Khanam (Rita) told the officials present, “You should work with enthusiasm so that we can develop the thoughts and ideas of our Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.” She also directed to divide the action plan into short, medium and long-term goals for the implementation of the election manifesto in the civil aviation and tourism sectors.
State Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat said, “We have to work to bring visible changes in the civil aviation and tourism sectors within the next 6 months. In addition, we have to be frugal in terms of raising funds to implement the promises.”
The meeting was attended by Nasreen Jahan, Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Air Vice Marshal Md. Mustafa Mahmud Siddique, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, and senior officials of the ministry and departments.
