A parliamentary delegation from Australia paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Thursday (April 9, 2026) at 3 pm.
A 13-member parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Australian Parliament Milton Dick met the Prime Minister at this time.
After the meeting, relevant sources said that it was a courtesy call, where various aspects of mutual relations and cooperation were discussed.
Deputy Speaker Barrister Kaiser Kamal, Chief Whip of Parliament Nurul Islam Moni and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid Islam along with relevant officials were present during the meeting.
