ATAB Organized special Iftar Mahfil

A special Iftar Mahfil was organized by the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB) on Wednesday (March 19, 2025) at Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon in the capital. Various government ministries, aviation and tourism-related organizations, and diplomats from different countries were present at the event.

ATAB President Mr. Abdus Salam Aref presided over the event and ATAB Secretary General Mr. Afsia Jannat Saleh moderated the event.

High-ranking officials of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Ministry of Industries, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Cultural Affairs were present at the event. In addition, senior officials of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation, Bangladesh Tourist Police, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, various airlines, G. D. S., and media participated.

Mr. Sayema ​​Shaheen Sultana, Chairman of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation, Mr. Md. Mainul Hasan, PPM, NDC, Additional IG of Bangladesh Tourist Police, and Mr. Dr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines were present as special guests.

Representatives of embassies of various countries including Thailand, Brazil, Maldives, China, Malaysia, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Brunei and Iran were also present at the event.
