Army’s East Bengal Regiment and Armored Corps Recruit Batch-2025 Parade Held

In continuation of the glorious tradition of the Bangladesh Army, the Army Chief’s Parade of the East Bengal Regiment and Armored Corps Recruit Batch-2025 was held today, Wednesday (October 15, 2025).

The East Bengal Regiment Parade organized at The East Bengal Regimental Center (EBRC) in Chittagong Cantonment was attended as the chief guest by the Quartermaster General of the Army, Lieutenant General Md. Faizur Rahman, BSP, SGP, ndc, AFWC, psc. He inspected the parade and received the salute.

On the other hand, the parade of the Recruit Batch-2025 of the Armored Corps was held at the Armored Corps Center and School (ACC&S) in Bogra Cantonment on the same day. The chief guest at the event was Major General Touhidul Ahmed, ndc, AFWC, psc, General Officer Commanding (GOC), 11 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Bogra Area.

The new soldiers officially joined the Bangladesh Army through the two events. In their speeches, the chief guests highlighted the glorious history of the Bangladesh Army, the heroic story and the contribution of the East Bengal Regiment and the Armored Corps in the service of the motherland. At the same time, they urged the new soldiers to be ready to face the challenges of the 21st century by acquiring skills through modern and up-to-date training and to dedicate themselves to the welfare of the nation by being inspired by patriotism, discipline and sense of responsibility.

Senior military and civilian officials of the Bangladesh Army, JCOs and other rank-and-file soldiers, invited guests, family members of the new soldiers, and media representatives were present at the ceremonies and enjoyed the mesmerizing parade.
