Algerian President’s condolence message on the death of Begum Khaleda Zia

President of the Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune has expressed deep shock and condolences on the death of former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

In a condolence message, the Algerian President expressed his deep condolences to the Honorable President of Bangladesh, Mohammad Shahabuddin, and Principal Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus. He expressed deep sorrow over the death of Begum Khaleda Zia and said that the nation will remember with respect her contribution to the democratic progress of Bangladesh and her unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people.

In his condolence message, President Tebboune also mentioned that Begum Khaleda Zia played an important role in developing bilateral relations between Algeria and Bangladesh during her tenure as Prime Minister, which the people of the two countries will remember with gratitude.

He expressed his sincere condolences to the family and well-wishers of Begum Khaleda Zia, as well as the government and people of Bangladesh, and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. At the same time, he prayed for strength and patience for the people of Bangladesh in this hour of mourning.
