The funeral prayers of the 6 brave peacekeepers of the Bangladesh Army who were martyred in the brutal terrorist drone attack in the Abyei area while serving in the UN peacekeeping mission in Sudan were held with full military and religious honors at the Central Mosque premises of Dhaka Cantonment on Sunday (December 21, 2025).
After the funeral prayers, the family members of the martyrs, UNICEF Chief Community Liaison Officer on behalf of the UN Secretary-General, senior military officers and representatives of various classes and professions paid silent tribute.
Bangladesh Air Force remembers the martyred brave peacekeepers with deep respect, prays for the forgiveness of their souls and expresses its sincere condolences to the bereaved families.
