The inauguration of the newly established Night Vision Trainer was held at the Bangladesh Air Force Aero Medical Institute on Monday (15 December 2025). Honorable Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan, BBP, OSP, GUP, NSWC, PSC, inaugurated the Night Vision Trainer as the chief guest.






New facilities and flying equipment are being added to modernize and modernize the Air Force. In continuation of this, this new Night Vision Trainer was officially inducted into the Air Force with the aim of enhancing the night flying skills and operational capabilities of pilots through simulated training in a controlled environment. This advanced training facility will play an important role in developing the pilots’ situational awareness during night flights, combating visual illusions and alleviating spatial disorientation.

Principal Staff Officers of the Air Force Headquarters, invited directors, Director Naval Aviation and trainers from AMST SYSTEMTECHNIK GmbH, Austria were present at the event.
