On Monday (December 1, 2025, Adilur Rahman Khan, Advisor to the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, inaugurated the PWD-CMS (Complaint Management System) software developed for digitally receiving and resolving complaints related to building repair and maintenance of the Public Works Department.
Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works Md. Nazrul Islam, Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department Md. Khalequzzaman Chowdhury, RAJUK Chairman Md. Riazul Islam and Chairman of the National Housing Authority Mosammat Ferdousi Begum were present at the inauguration ceremony.
Through the PWD-CMS software, users of government buildings will be able to easily submit complaints online, register, upload attachments and track the progress of repair work directly. As a result, the complaint resolution process will be faster, more transparent and accountable.
Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan said at the inauguration ceremony that the launch of the PWD-CMS software Through this, transparency will increase in the activities of the Public Works Department and the maintenance work of government buildings will be more standardized.”
Secretary Mr. Nazrul Islam called the software an important digital advancement of the Public Works Department. It will open new horizons in the maintenance services of government buildings in the country.
