DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat ​​Ali, NDC, said that a flawless election must be presented above party affiliation in the upcoming 13th general election and referendum.

He said these things in his address to the DMP police members present at the monthly crime review meeting for December-2025 at the Bangladesh Police Auditorium in Rajarbagh on Wednesday (January 14).

He also said that if the code of conduct is violated in the election, there is a possibility that the security of the candidates will be disrupted. Therefore, everyone should be vigilant to ensure that the code of conduct is followed properly. In addition, care should be taken that no organization whose activities are banned cannot destroy the electoral environment. Care should be taken that no one can gain any political benefit based on any incident.

The upcoming election will be a part of history. He warned all police members to ensure that no allegations are made against any police member in the elections. He gave various directive speeches on the occasion of the elections.

Shawkat Ali, Joint Police Commissioners, Deputy Police Commissioners, Additional Deputy Police Commissioners, Assistant Police Commissioners, Officers-in-Charge of all DMP police stations and police officers of various ranks were present at the crime review meeting.
