Malaysia Airlines Hosts Gala Dinner in Mumbai to Celebrate Partnerships and Achievements

Malaysia Airlines hosted a grand Gala Dinner in Mumbai, India, bringing together over 200 distinguished guests in a celebration of partnerships, achievements, and a shared passion for travel.

The prestigious event was graced by Malaysia Airlines Group Managing Director Datuk Captain Izham Ismail and Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Dersenish Aresandiran. Also in attendance were representatives from the Malaysian Embassy in Mumbai, led by the Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Ahmad Zuwairi Yusoff.

The evening paid special tribute to Malaysia Airlines’ valued travel agents in India, whose continuous support has been instrumental in strengthening the airline’s presence in the market. Top Agent Awards were presented to outstanding partners in recognition of their exceptional contributions.

Guests enjoyed an engaging evening, complete with the “Time For Malaysia Airlines” photo booth, allowing them to capture memories and take home special keepsakes.

This Gala Dinner was more than just a social gathering — it was a heartfelt celebration of the strong partnerships that enable Malaysia Airlines to connect the world to Malaysia, in line with the nation’s vision for Visit Malaysia 2026.
