TCB’s product sales activities in mobile trucks are starting from tomorrow

The sales activities of Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) products (edible oil, sugar and lentils) at subsidized prices among TCB Smart Family Card holders are ongoing. In addition to regular activities, product sales activities are starting from tomorrow through 60 mobile trucks in Dhaka metropolis.

TCB gave this information in a notification today, Saturday (August 9, 2025). The notification signed by TCB Deputy Director Md. Shahadat Hossain said that from 10 August 2025 to 13 September 2025, 30 days (excluding Fridays) and 25 in Chittagong Metropolitan City, 06 in Gazipur Metropolitan City, 03 in Comilla Metropolitan City and 08 in Dhaka District, 12 in Comilla District, 04 in Faridpur District, 05 in Patuakhali District and 05 in Bagerhat District, activities have been taken to sell TCB products (edible oil, sugar and lentils) to 500 common people per truck at affordable prices from 10 August 2025 to 31 August 2025 for 19 days (excluding Fridays) daily. Any consumer can purchase products from the truck.

Edible oil will be sold to consumers at 230 taka for 2 liters, 80 taka for 1 kg of sugar and 140 taka for 2 kg of lentils.

It is to be noted that the selling price for Smart Family card holders will remain the same as before.
