Two-day training workshop on cyber digital evidence inaugurated at CTTC

A two-day training workshop on cyber digital evidence has been inaugurated at CTTC with the participation of learned judges, prosecutors and investigators of the Bangladesh Anti-Terrorism Tribunal.

On Wednesday (July 30, 2025), the workshop, jointly organized by the Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development Assistant and Training of the US Department of Justice and CTTC, was inaugurated by DMP Additional Commissioner of Police (CTTC) Md. Masud Karim at the conference room of the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) of DMP.

A two-day training workshop on cyber digital evidence was inaugurated with the participation of learned judges, prosecutors and investigators of the Bangladesh Anti-Terrorism Tribunal.

Inaugurating the workshop, Chief Guest Masud Karim said that the importance of digital evidence in proving anti-terrorism cases is undeniable. Therefore, through today’s workshop, the learned judges, prosecutors and investigating officers of the tribunal will get a first-hand idea about the process of collecting digital evidence, chain of custody and forensic process.

US Embassy Dhaka Resident Legal Advisor Rahul Kali, Legal Advisor Nuran Chowdhury and Deputy Police Commissioner of the City Cyber Crime Investigation Division Md. Shahjahan Hossain PPM were present during the inauguration.

Incidentally, a total of 36 people, including learned judges, prosecutors and investigating officers of the Anti-Terrorism Tribunal, participated in this training. This two-day training workshop will end tomorrow with the distribution of certificates.
