US corn is affordable, competitively priced and of the highest quality: Chargé d’Affaires Tracy Jacobson

Chargé d’Affaires Tracy Jacobson, Ambassador of the United States to Bangladesh, welcomed the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) in Bangladesh with an important message. She said that US corn is now available in the global market at affordable, competitive prices and of the highest quality.

She said that 145 million tons of corn will be available for purchase at lower contractual prices in 2025-2026.

The use of US corn significantly increases the nutritional value of animal feed, resulting in higher quality meat, eggs and dairy products. At the same time, the profits of producers also increase, she said.

This could be a significant opportunity for the growing food and feed industry in Bangladesh. The U.S. Grains Council believes that relevant traders can benefit from the nutritional value and reliable supply of US corn.
