BUFT Holds Memorial Discussion and Prayer Session in Honor of Late Abdullah Hil Rakib

A memorial discussion and prayer session was held at the BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) in honor of the late Abdullah Hil Rakib, a respected member of the university’s Board of Trustees, prominent businessman, and social contributor.

The event took place on Monday (July 28) at the university’s multipurpose hall. As part of the tribute, a curated exhibition of 100 selected photographs and a documentary highlighted key moments from Abdullah Hil Rakib’s remarkable life and career. Family members, colleagues, close friends, and members of the BUFT community gathered to share heartfelt memories and reflections on his legacy.

A commemorative scroll and a photo album capturing his contributions were unveiled during the event. The program concluded with a special prayer (Doa Mahfil) seeking eternal peace for his departed soul.
