The Ministry of Commerce has abolished the board of directors of the Bangladesh Fertilizer Association (BFA) and appointed an administrator. Joint Secretary of the ministry Mustafizur Rahman has been given the responsibility of the association. An office order in this regard was issued on July 24.
The order said that the current committee of the Fertilizer Association could not give a satisfactory response to the show cause notice as to why an administrator would not be appointed in the organization.
The order said that Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Mustafizur Rahman has been appointed as the administrator of the Bangladesh Fertilizer Association.
He will complete a fair and impartial election within 120 (one hundred and twenty) days and hand over the responsibility to the elected committee and inform the ministry.
