‘Lead Digital Innovation Summit 2025’ was held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Saturday (July 26, 2025). The summit, titled “Reverse Brain Drain”, was organized by Lead, a global initiative that connects expatriate Bangladeshi technology leaders with digital startups and businesses in Bangladesh.

The main objective of this flagship event was to accelerate the progress of the digital startup ecosystem in Bangladesh by bringing together expatriate Bangladeshi (NRB) digital leaders, executives from the country’s leading industry organizations, promising startups and international investors.

Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor for the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and IT, was present as the chief guest at the event.
More than 35 expatriate and international digital experts participated in the summit, who shared their experiences and perspectives. More than 200 industry leaders were present, discussing future-ready strategies.

In addition, more than 50 international and domestic investors participated, who expressed interest in investing in new technology ventures. More than 15 digital startups presented their ideas and business plans at the summit, with the aim of generating potential investment and partnership opportunities.

The organizers hope that Lead’s initiative will open new doors for young technology-based entrepreneurs and further strengthen technology transfer and international connectivity in the country through ‘reverse brain drain’.
