Jamaat-e-Islami announces Tk 50 lakh medical assistance for plane crash victims

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has announced an initial Tk 50 lakh assistance for the treatment of those injured in the plane crash at the capital’s Uttara Milestone School.

Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said in a statement, “We will initially provide Tk 50 lakh for the medical assistance of those injured in this tragic accident, InshaAllah. We appeal to all doctors in the country to come forward to treat the injured from a humanitarian perspective.”

He also said, “May Allah Ta’ala grant us the ability to stand by humanity and accept it. Amen.”
