JICA Executive Senior Vice Presindent Ms. Miyazaki Katsura visits JICA’s Project on fisheries sector in Cox’s Bazar
During the visit, Ms. Miyazaki with Mr. YAMADA Tetsuya, Director General of the South Asia Department observed the progress of the construction work of the JICA’s Grant Aid Project; Fish Landing Center of Bangladesh Fisheries Development Corporation.
They also visited some fishery communities to observe the livelihood improvement activities supported by the JICA Technical Cooperation “Fisheries Livelihood Enhancement Project in the Coastal Area of the Bay of Bengal (FiLEP)”. These projects aim to develop the Bangladesh’s fishery sector further and support host communities in the area.
