Four-time US Senator and Bangladeshi-origin Mr. Sheikh Rahman recently visited Gazipur with his family. During this time, he visited some modern garment and hi-tech factories in the area and directly exchanged views with the workers.
He reacted enthusiastically after seeing the smiles on the workers’ faces and their confidence in their work. During the visit, prominent industrial entrepreneur couple Mr. Salauddin Chowdhury and Maksuda Chowdhury provided him with all-round support and highlighted the progress of the domestic industry.
At the end of the visit, he thanked the workers and expressed hope that such initiatives would be expanded further.
