The Forum panel has secured a majority in the 2025–27 term election of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), the apex body of the country’s ready-made garment (RMG) industry.
The biennial election for the 2025–27 term of BGMEA was held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at designated centers in Dhaka and Chattogram.
With Forum’s majority win, panel leader Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu), Managing Director of Rising Fashions Ltd., is set to become the next President of BGMEA.
