Tejgaon Model High School gave a farewell reception to retired teachers

A farewell reception for retired teachers was held in a touching atmosphere at Tejgaon Model High School in the capital today, Thursday (May 22, 2025). Teachers, students, guardians, and people from different walks of life participated in this event to express respect and gratitude to the departing teachers.

The event was attended by the President of the School’s Managing Committee (Ad Hoc) Mr. Matiur Rahman as the chief guest. The Secondary Education Officer of Gulshan Police Station Mr. Amidur Rahman was present as the special guest. The school’s Headmaster Mr. Md. Jamal Hossain presided over the event.

The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem. Later, a message of greetings was read to the departing teachers. The event became lively with the participation of the founding members of the school, members of the Board of Directors, respected teachers, students, and guardians.

The departing teachers were welcomed with flowers and presented with a crest of honor. They recalled that the time spent at Tejgaon Model High School was a priceless asset in their lives. They expressed their sincere wishes for the future generation.

Chief guest Matiur Rahman outlined the directions of the school’s development plan in his speech. He said, “Our goal is to build a modern and up-to-date educational institution.” At this time, he mentioned priority projects such as gate construction, digitalization of official activities, fingerprint-based attendance control system for teachers and students, and launching a full-fledged website.

In the last part of the program, Headmaster Md. Jamal Hossain expressed his gratitude to the outgoing teachers in his valuable speech and urged everyone to work together for the welfare of the students.
