In the spirit of Eid, an exceptional Eid reunion organized by Sammilito Parishad was held on Saturday (May 3, 2025) at the prestigious Uttara Club in Dhaka. However, it was not just a festive celebration—it took the form of a significant gathering to discuss the organization’s unity, motivation, and future course of action surrounding the upcoming BGMEA elections.
The active participation of renowned entrepreneurs in the country’s ready-made garment industry turned the event into a lively gathering. Along with the general members of BGMEA, Sammilito Parishad President Kazi Moniruzzaman, Panel Leader Abul Kalam Azad, Former President and Chief Election Coordinator Faruk Hasan, and Former President and Co-Coordinator Rafiqul Islam were also present. Current and former Vice-Presidents, Directors, and other members of BGMEA were also present.




Top leaders from Dhaka and Chittagong regions delivered welcome speeches at the event. They detailed the organization’s success, future plans and election preparations. The speech highlighted the commitment to form a well-organized and strong BGMEA.
BNP leader Zainul Abdin Faruk spoke as the special guest, praising the role of the Sammilito Parishad and highlighting the importance of political stability in the overall development of the garment sector. Former director Shovon Islam and other leaders also spoke.




In the discussion, the leaders said that BGMEA is not just a business organization—it is the driving force of the national economy. Therefore, unity, professionalism and foresight are very important in the leadership election.
