Tourist Police Chief highlighted the current activities and future plans of the Tourist Police on the second day of Police Week 2025

On the second day of Police Week 2025, Tourist Police Chief Additional IG Md. Mainul Hasan, PPM, NDC, highlighted the ongoing activities and future plans of the Tourist Police in detail. He said that the Tourist Police is working tirelessly to develop the country’s tourism industry and ensure the safety of tourists.

He also said at the event that the Tourist Police is working to make the experience of tourists safer and more enjoyable by strengthening security in important tourist areas of the country, establishing information support centers, launching technology-based surveillance and awareness programs.

Mohammad Sakhawat Hossain, Additional DIG, Tourist Police Dhaka-Sylhet-Mymensingh Division; Md. Mizanur Rahman, PPM, Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance), Tourist Police Headquarters, Dhaka; and Nadia Farzana, Additional Superintendent of Police (Legal and Media), Tourist Police Headquarters, Dhaka, along with other senior officials of the Tourist Police.
