Bangladesh Pavilion inaugurated at World Expo

On Friday (April 11, 2025) morning, the Bangladesh Pavilion of the World Expo 2025 to be held in Osaka, Kansai, Japan was jointly inaugurated by the Additional Secretary (Export) of the Ministry of Commerce, Md. Abdur Rahim Khan, and the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Tokyo, Md. Daud Ali.

At the inauguration ceremony, Abdur Rahim Khan said that the display of export products at the Bangladesh Pavilion at the World Expo will bring widespread recognition to our country worldwide and foreign buyers will be more attracted to our country’s products.

Officials of the Ministry of Commerce, Export Promotion Bureau and the Bangladesh Embassy in Japan were present during the inauguration of the pavilion.

It is worth noting that a total of eighteen zones will be used to display potential export products of Bangladesh at the World Expo.

Later, they visited various stalls of the Bangladesh Pavilion and expressed satisfaction with the smooth completion of the preparatory work.

165 countries are participating in the six-month-long World Expo, one of the world’s largest. The organizers believe that the World Expo will be able to create wonderful opportunities for the countries’ businessmen and buyers. The official inauguration of World Expo 2025 will be tomorrow.
