World-renowned China-based ready-made garment manufacturer Handa Industries Limited is going to invest $150 million in Bangladesh. Through this investment, the company will play an important role in the production of high-quality knitted textiles, dyeing processing and garments.

Of this huge investment, $100 million will be spent on the textile and dyeing sector in the economic zone and $50 million on the garment industry in the export processing zone.

To this end, today, Wednesday (April 9, 2025), Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashiq Mahmud Bin Harun and Handa (Dhaka) Textile Co. Ltd. Chairman Heng Jelli signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on their respective sides at a prestigious hotel in the capital.
