On Monday (24 March 2025), the Army Chief provided financial assistance to the father of martyr Abu Sayeed in July-August Uprising.
It is to be noted that on 16 July 2024, Abu Sayeed was martyred in police firing while unarmed during a movement in Rangpur. His selfless sacrifice for the motherland will be remembered forever.
On 10 December 2024, when the father of martyr Abu Sayeed suddenly suffered a heart attack, he was urgently brought from Rangpur to CMH, Dhaka by an army helicopter and recovered with advanced treatment. Later, on 23 March 2025, he was present at the invitation of the Army Chief at the Iftar Mahfil organized in honor of those injured in the July-August Uprising.
