Antu Karim elected president of e-club’s executive committee

Entrepreneurs’ organization Entrepreneurs’ Club Bangladesh (E-Club) has announced a new executive committee. The committee was announced at the capital’s Banani Club on Tuesday (February 4) night. The newly elected committee members will serve the organization for the next two years.

Businessman, media personality and popular actor Antu Karim has been elected as president and Md. Solaiman Ahmed Jisan as general secretary in the new committee.

Other positions elected include: Senior Vice President Abdullah Safi, Vice President Architect Md. Abdur Rahman Nipu and Fahmida Ahmed Beauty, Joint Secretary Architect Arupa Dutta, Organizing Secretary Md. Hasan Ikram Ahmed, Publicity Secretary Md. Delwar Hossain, Director (Events and Meetups) Kabir Hossain, Director (Membership Services) Sharmin Sattar Avni, Director (Legal and Dispute) Advocate Shakil Ahmad and Director (Finance and Admin) Arifur Rahman Bhuiyan.

At the event, newly elected President Antu Karim said, “We will work together to take the e-club to new heights. Our main goal is to introduce more effective networking and support services for entrepreneurs.”

General Secretary Solaiman Ahmed Jisan said, “We are committed to building a well-organized, modern and effective organization. Together, everyone in the new committee will make the activities of the e-club more dynamic.”

Founding President of the club, Mohammad Shahriar Khan, said, “The Entrepreneurs Club, which started in 2018, is now one of the best and most popular entrepreneurial platforms in Bangladesh. We hope that it will move forward with more new enthusiasm under the leadership of the new president. He thanked the Governing Committee and the EC Advisory Committee for forming the new committee.

Present at the event, moderated by Dr. Trina Islam, were former president of the e-club and member of the EC Advisory Board, Professor Dr. Md. Shah Alam Chowdhury, advisor to the e-club and editor of Business in Bangladesh, Prof. Md. Sajibul-al-Rajib, journalists from various media, prominent figures and more than a hundred invited club entrepreneurs. The names of the new committee were announced in front of the guests and their oath was recited by the founding president of the e-club, Mohammad Shahriar Khan.
