Voting for the country’s 23rd presidential election has ended. Voting began at 2:10 pm in the session hall of the National Assembly on Thursday (August 20) and ended at 5 pm as scheduled.
After the voting, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin announced the end of the voting.
He said that now the officials of the National Assembly Secretariat and the Election Commission Secretariat will start the vote counting process. The election results will be announced as soon as the counting is completed.
As the voting was completed within the stipulated time, everyone’s attention is now on the results. The names of the candidates elected in the votes of the members of parliament in the presidential election will be officially announced after the counting.
