The presidential election will be held tomorrow, Thursday (August 20) from 2 pm to 5 pm. All necessary preparations have been completed to conduct this historic election in a fair, beautiful and orderly manner, said Chief Election Officer and Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin.
He informed reporters at a briefing held at his office at the Election Building in Agargaon in the capital on Wednesday (August 19).
The CEC said that all the preparations required by the Election Commission for the presidential election have been completed. There is no shortage in the preparations. Necessary cooperation is being received from everyone involved in organizing the election.
He said, ‘There is no shortage in our preparations. We are receiving cooperation from everyone involved in this election. We believe that we will be able to conduct a beautiful election.’
Describing the presidential election as a historic moment for Bangladesh, AMM Nasir Uddin said that the world is looking forward to the presidential election in Bangladesh. This is a historic moment and it is a privilege for him to serve as the Chief Electoral Officer of such an election.
