A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka and Protibandhi Suraksha Trust-Maitree Industries to collaborate with ‘Mukta Water’ to help create employment and livelihood opportunities for people with disabilities.
Dominic D’Souza, General Manager of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, and Md. Barktur Rahman, Executive Director of Protibandhi Suraksha Trust, were present at the recently organized agreement signing ceremony.
‘Mukta Water’, produced by the initiative of Protibandhi Suraksha Trust-Maitree Industries, is not just a bottled drinking water; it is an initiative for people with disabilities to become economically self-reliant. People with disabilities are getting economic income and meaningful employment opportunities by being involved in its production activities.
Through this partnership, Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka is supporting the initiative of ‘Mukta Water’ as well as helping to create employment and livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities associated with it.
Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka said that they are proud to collaborate with ‘Mukta Water’ as part of encouraging inclusive employment and socially responsible initiatives. Such a partnership is expected to play a positive role in creating more meaningful and dignified employment opportunities for persons with disabilities in the society.
