Bangladesh-Russia agree to expand agricultural and trade cooperation

Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Russia to Bangladesh Vyacheslav Senturin and Russian Agriculture Attaché Vladimir Mochalov met with Trade, Industry, Textiles and Jute Advisor Khandaker Abdul Muktadir.

The meeting held on Monday (July 28, 2026) discussed the current status and future prospects of bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Russia.

The meeting gave special importance to further expanding cooperation in the agricultural sector of the two countries. Both sides exchanged views on increasing mutual cooperation in the agricultural sector, strengthening trade relations and exploiting new possibilities in this sector in the future.
