Host Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 78 runs on the fifth day of the second and final Test. As a result, the Tigers won the two-match Test series 2-0. Nazmul Hossain Shanto’s team won the first Test of the series by 104 runs. This is the first time Bangladesh has whitewashed Pakistan in Test cricket on home soil.
Pakistan was all out for 358 runs on the fifth day of the second Test of the series held at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday (May 20, 2026).
Earlier, Bangladesh scored 278 runs in the first innings and Pakistan 232 runs. Bangladesh’s total in the second innings was 390 runs.
Nazmul Hossain Shanto’s team won the first Test of the series by 104 runs.
