A coordinated drive is currently being conducted in a disciplined and orderly manner to remove illegal structures along the banks of Gulshan Lake and to restore the natural ecological balance of the area.
The operation is being carried out with the joint participation of the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), the Traffic Gulshan Division, and the Crime Division. The authorities concerned are working in close coordination to ensure the smooth execution of the drive.
Officials stated that the main objective of the operation is to remove unauthorized encroachments along the lake, protect the environment, maintain the natural flow of the water body, and restore the aesthetic beauty of the area.
They further added that such initiatives are essential to safeguarding public interest, ensuring environmental protection, and establishing discipline in urban management.
