29th Annual General Meeting of AmCham held

Diplomatic Desk:

The 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) was held on April 19, 2026 at The Westin Dhaka.

The meeting was presided over by AmCham President Syed Ershad Ahmed. The members of the organization’s executive committee included Treasurer Al-Mamun M. Rashel, Rashed Mujib Noman, Rubaba Dowla and Mirza Shajib Raihan.

Also present at the meeting were AmCham Bangladesh Advisor and Commercial Counselor at the U.S. Embassy Dhaka, Paul Frost.

Along with other distinguished AmCham members, AmCham Executive Director Chowdhury Kaiser Mohammad Riyadh also participated in the meeting.

The meeting discussed various activities of the organization, future plans and trade expansion issues.
