New Year’s Resolution: Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister calls for joint efforts to develop tourism

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam was present as the chief guest at the New Year’s Eve program organized by the Bangladesh Tourism Corporation on Tuesday (April 14, 2026).

On the occasion, the minister said that New Year’s Eve is not just the beginning of the new year, but it is also a day to realize national identity. She called on everyone to work together for the development of the country and emphasized on joint efforts.

She also said that we want to present the country in a more beautiful way to the world. This can be possible through the development of tourism. If we embrace the culture of the country, then Bangladesh will move forward.

Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Fahmida Akhtar was present as the special guest at the program. Bangladesh Tourism Corporation Chairman Saema Shaheen Sultana presided over the program.

Senior officials and employees of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Bangladesh Tourism Corporation, and Bangladesh Tourism Board were also present at the event.
