The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat office on Sunday (05 April 2026) afternoon. During the meeting, both sides discussed various issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Ambassador Brent T. Christensen handed over two historical photographs and a replica of the White House to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. One of the photographs shows martyred President Ziaur Rahman and former US President Jimmy Carter. The other photograph shows former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and former US President George H. W. Bush.
Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman and Foreign Affairs Advisor Humayun Kabir were present during the meeting.
