Thai Ambassador emphasizes on further strengthening Bangladesh-Thailand relations

Diplomatic Desk:

Thai Ambassador to Bangladesh Thithiporn Chirasawadi paid a courtesy call on Foreign Secretary (East and West) Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the current situation in the Middle East, recent developments in South Asia and Southeast Asia, and the foreign policy priorities of the new government of Bangladesh.

At the time, Ambassador Thithiporn Chirasawadi emphasized on the potential for further strengthening bilateral cooperation between Bangladesh and Thailand. He expressed Thailand’s interest and readiness to further advance the relationship by increasing trade, improving communication systems, and increasing people-to-people contact between the two countries.
