An important meeting was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner organized by the District Administration, Tangail with the participation of all district level officials. Fakir Mahbub Anam MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology and Ministry of Science and Technology were present as the chief guest in the meeting.
The meeting discussed in detail the overall administrative activities of the district, ongoing development projects, expansion of digital services and improvement of quality of citizen services. In his speech, the chief guest emphasized on increasing coordination and accountability among all departments to accelerate the development of the district. He said that service delivery at the district level can be made easier and more dynamic through information technology and innovation-based activities.
The officials participating in the meeting highlighted the activities, challenges and future action plans of their respective departments. Constructive views were exchanged on various issues including infrastructure development of the district, law and order situation, improvement of education and healthcare.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, Tangail, Additional Deputy Commissioners, Additional Superintendents of Police and officials of all district-level government departments.
