After attending the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
During the meeting, he praised the Prime Minister’s landslide victory and Bangladesh’s democratic continuity. Both leaders agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations based on mutual respect, common interests and the welfare of the people.
