Three new advisers take oath

Three more advisers have taken oath as advisers to the interim government. They are – they are businessman Sheikh Bashir Uddin, film director Mustafa Sarowar Faruqi and special assistant to the chief adviser Mahfuz Alam.

Today, Sunday (November 10, 2024), they took oath at Bangabhaban around 7:30 pm. President Md. Sahabuddin recited their oath.

The National Anthem was played at the beginning of the swearing-in ceremony conducted by Cabinet Secretary Sheikh Abdur Rashid. Later, silence was observed in memory of the martyrs of the liberation war and this year the martyrs of the students’ uprising.
