A seven-member Turkish election observation team paid a courtesy call on Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus on Tuesday (February 10, 2026).
The observation team, comprising members of the Turkish parliament, was led by Mehmet Akif Yilmaz, Chairperson of the Turkish-Bangladesh Parliamentary Friendship Group.
Lamia Morshed, Principal Coordinator for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Office of the Chief Advisor, and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present during the meeting.
