A three-day training program for polling officers is underway in Sreepur Upazila of Gazipur to ensure a free, fair and peaceful conduct of the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum 2026.

On the second day of the training program organized at the Sreepur Upazila Parishad Auditorium from February 1 to February 3, Gazipur Deputy Commissioner Mr. Mohammad Alam Hossain was present as the chief guest on Monday (February 2) at 12 noon and provided important guidelines to the trainees.

The Deputy Commissioner laid special emphasis on the election code of conduct, polling station management, maintaining law and order and being prepared to deal with any unexpected situation.
Gazipur Superintendent of Police Mr. Md. Sharif Uddin and Major Rifat Hasan of Sreepur Army Camp also addressed the trainees at the program. They discussed in detail the security management in the elections, the coordinated role of the forces and maintaining a peaceful environment.
The training program is being attended by the presiding officer, assistant presiding officer and polling officer along with other polling officials. The concerned expressed hope that this training program will play an important role in conducting the elections in a fair and impartial manner.
