20th Board Meeting of Police Staff College Bangladesh Held

The 20th Board Meeting of the Board of Directors of Police Staff College Bangladesh was held on Monday (January 26, 2026) morning in the college meeting room. The Chairman of the Board, Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.) presided over it.

In his speech, the Chairman directed the posting of skilled officers and organizing regular board meetings at the Advisor Police Staff College. He emphasized on improving the quality of training at the college so that police officers from abroad can also regularly come to the college to receive advanced training.

The meeting was attended by the Vice Chairman of the Board, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Nasimul Gani, Board Member, Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh Baharul Alam BPM, Secretary, Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Hafiz Ahmed Chowdhury, Rector of Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center Sayeed Mahbub Khan and Vice Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan along with the board members participated.

Rector (Additional IGP) of Police Staff College Bangladesh and Board Secretary Kazi Mohammad Fazlul Karim chaired the meeting. The meeting discussed in detail the arrangements for higher training at Police Staff College and expansion of training areas, infrastructural development plans, organizational structure reforms and manpower increase, academic and research activities, administrative matters including.
