Gazipur District Commissioner as chief guest at the opinion exchange meeting in Kaliganj on the occasion of the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum

A view exchange meeting was held with professionals and the general public on the occasion of the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum 2026. The meeting, organized on Thursday (January 15, 2026) at the premises of Baligaon High School in Kaliganj Upazila, was presided over by Kaliganj Upazila Executive Officer Mr. A. T. M. Kamrul Islam.

Gazipur District Deputy Commissioner Mr. Mohammad Alam Hossain was present as the chief guest at the opinion exchange meeting. In his speech, he highlighted the administration’s preparations and responsibilities to ensure free, fair and participatory elections. At the same time, he emphasized on ensuring the conscious participation of the people in the elections and referendum.

Gazipur District Superintendent of Police Mr. Md. Sharif Uddin was present as a special guest at the meeting. He spoke about the role of the police and security measures to maintain law and order.

People from different classes and professions, public representatives, political leaders, teachers, students and local dignitaries were present at the event.
