Tarique Rahman makes historic homecoming after 17 years

After 17 long years, BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman set foot on the country’s soil with his family.

He is the eldest son of the late former martyred President Ziaur Rahman and three-time former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia. The Bangladesh Biman flight carrying him landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 11:45 am.

However, not only Tarique Rahman returned home alone, his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman and only child Barrister Zaima Rahman also returned home with him.

Meanwhile, top BNP leaders are at the airport to welcome Tarique Rahman and his family.
