Consultative Meeting Held on the Occasion of Holy Christmas 2025 under the Chairmanship of the GMP Commissioner

On Sunday (21 December 2025), at the initiative of the Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP), a consultative meeting was held in the conference room of the GMP Headquarters with members of the Christian community of Gazipur Metropolitan City on the occasion of the celebration of Holy Christmas 2025 on 25 December.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Md. Israil Howlader, Police Commissioner, Gazipur Metropolitan Police. During the meeting, the Honorable Police Commissioner listened to the opinions and suggestions of all participants and assured full cooperation from the Gazipur Metropolitan Police for the peaceful celebration of Holy Christmas. He also called upon everyone to work together in unity to ensure a peaceful, safe, and festive environment during the celebrations.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammad Taherul Haque Chowdhury, Additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Operations), along with senior officers of the Gazipur Metropolitan Police. Leaders of the Christian community were also present, including the President of the Bangladesh Christian Unity Council and leaders of all churches located within Gazipur Metropolitan City.
