Mayor Mujibur Rahman, BNP’s nominated paddy sheesh candidate for Gazipur-1 constituency and member of the BNP National Executive Committee, held an exchange of views with learned lawyers of the Gazipur Bar today, Sunday (December 21, 2025).
At the exchange of views, Mayor Mujibur Rahman said, “I am one of you. I have met you repeatedly on the balcony of this court while fighting against the previous fascist government. When numerous BNP leaders and activists were arrested, I rushed to you. At that time, I made you very angry and upset.”
He further said, “Today, our leader Begum Khaleda Zia and our beloved leader Mr. Tarique Rahman have put their trust in me and nominated me to win the Gazipur-1 constituency. This constituency was out of our hands for the last 35 years. So today I have come to you—to enrich me further by adding your experience, wisdom and advice to me.”
Calling for united work to ensure the victory of the paddy sheaf, he said, “Every voter is equally important to us to bring victory. The sheaf of paddy has given me from Gazipur-1—I am your candidate. Please support me.”
