Police must be responsible to conduct elections in a free, fair and impartial manner: KMP Commissioner Mohammad Jahidul Hasan

On Wednesday (December 17, 2025) morning, a training workshop on enhancing the skills and capabilities of the 21st batch of police was held at the Boyrastha Police Lines to ensure that the election duties are carried out smoothly. Khulna Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Mohammad Jahidul Hasan, BPM-Service, delivered the opening and welcome speech at the training workshop.

In his welcome speech, he said that there is no alternative to professionalism, honesty and efficiency at all levels of the police to conduct the upcoming national elections in a free, fair and impartial manner. In performing election duties, each member must work with a responsible attitude, fair behavior and utmost respect for the law. He further said that through this training, officers will have a clear idea about the election law, code of conduct and what to do in dealing with real situations, which will provide more confidence and efficiency in performing duties at the field level.

Deputy Police Commissioner (Sadar) Mr. M. M. Shakiluzzaman, who was promoted to the post of Additional DIG, along with the trainees were present at the time.
