Sonali Bank PLC held a prayer meeting in memory of the martyrs of the Great Liberation War. The prayer meeting was held after Zuhr on Wednesday, December 17, at the conference room of the head office as part of the celebration of Victory Day-2025.
The prayer meeting was attended by the bank’s MD and CEO, Mr. Md. Shawkat Ali Khan.
In addition, Deputy Managing Directors, General Managers, Deputy General Managers of the Head Office, President and General Secretary of Sonali Bank Employees Association B-664 (CBA), Zia Parishad, President and General Secretary of Sonali Bank Central Committee, President and General Secretary of Jatiyatabadi Bankers Association, Sonali Bank Central Committee, Convener and General Secretary of Muktijoddha Sangsad Sonali Bank Institutional Unit, other leaders of these organizations and executives and officers and employees of all levels of the bank participated.
The prayer mahfil was held to pray for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the great liberation war and for the development of the country and its people.
